This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use our service.

  • Account data: email, username, password (hashed)
  • Calculation data: user inputs, including health-related and lifestyle information that you enter into the questionnaire
  • Result data: calculated outputs
  • AI support data: limited result and questionnaire context used to generate educational summaries or action-plan explanations where AI features are enabled
  • Payment data: transaction IDs, status (no card data stored)
  • Technical data: IP, logs, browser info

The questionnaire may include health-related information. We process this data only to provide your calculation, result pages, educational explanations, and related account features. LifeTrajectory does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency advice.

Because the questionnaire can include data concerning health, some of the information you provide may be special category data under GDPR Art. 9. We process this health-related questionnaire data only with your explicit consent under GDPR Art. 9(2)(a), for the specified purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

These purposes are limited to: creating your life expectancy calculation, showing your result pages, building your Longevity Map and Feedback Map, generating educational AI Action Plan explanations where available, handling payment and account access, providing support, and maintaining security and abuse prevention.

You may withdraw this consent for the future at any time by contacting support@lifetrajectory.live or by using the privacy controls in your account. If you withdraw consent, we can no longer provide calculation, result, feedback, or action-plan features that depend on your health-related questionnaire data. We will delete or anonymize the affected data unless we are legally required to retain certain records.

5. Payments (Stripe)

Payments are processed via Stripe. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe. We only receive transaction-related information.

6. Service providers

We use third-party providers:

  • Hosting: Heroku
  • Email delivery: SendGrid
  • Media storage: Cloudinary
  • Payments: Stripe
  • AI-assisted summaries and explanations: OpenAI, where AI features are enabled

Stripe processes card details directly. We do not store full payment card numbers. Where OpenAI is used, the data sent is limited to the context needed to generate educational summaries or explanations for your result.

7. Data transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Cookies

We use necessary cookies (e.g., login sessions). Additional cookies (if any) require your consent.

9. Data retention

  • Account data: until deletion
  • Questionnaire and result data: until you delete the relevant calculation or your account
  • Payment data: as required by law
  • Technical logs: retained only for operation, security, debugging, and legal requirements, and kept as limited as reasonably possible
